The idea behind flight-aid as a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) is to supply existing charitable and medical relief programmes in Africa with reliable air transportation at no cost, where it is vital to the accomplishment of humanitarian endeavours.
In co-ordinated effort with other humanitarian and medical organizations flight-aid’s aircraft are used whenever rapid and safe transportation is needed in order to make health care accessible, save lives, or otherwise serve the African public in a humanitarian context.
flight-aid’s philosophy is based on co-operation with other humanitarian organizations not on competition! The hopelessness that so many people are confronted with does not allow us to do so. Instead it makes us realize that there is a need to share resources and coordinate efforts to make a difference.
